The Hub's exhibition programme has grown and grown. The subject matter is huge. We are particularly keen to curate shows that actively share knowledge about contemporary design. This year's Denim: the Fabric of our Lives is an example.

You'll see plenty about Guitars over the next few months. It's an interesting mix of a definitive survey of contemporary guitar making in the UK, luthiers' benches, concert programmes and opportunities for all comers to perform on the stage that will be the show's centre piece.

Watch out too, for Courtyards of India next year and a major exhibition about drawing in 2010.

We also enjoy making smaller shows, sometimes to share ideas, other times to simply celebrate designers and makers we think to represent the best talent in the UK and beyond.
