The Hub's Learning programme is broad and busy:
We greatly enjoy working with very young children through informal gallery activities, lots of visits from early years settings and infants schools, and our new Hubbles toddler and parent sessions.
Primary school workshops include the new Hub on the Road project, this term offering workshops in bridge building and puppet making.
We have very good relationships with secondary schools through the D&T Forum, formal and informal visits.
Our workshops for young people with special needs have been a pleasure. Over the next year we expect to conclude formal agreements with colleges and other further education settings.
The relationship with the University of Lincoln is close and growing in all sorts of ways, including a collaboration in Quest, the D&T Forum and a proposed, major exhibition about drawing.
We helped organise last year's Hearing Voices conference that in turn created new relationships with local community groups and individuals.
Our Short course programme has long been popular - a way to learn new skills and work alongside experts in their fields. Click on the menu above.
Last but certainly not least, we have a long term project - the VCGD (Very Cheap Great Design) collection. Ephemeral and not so ephemeral.
